This exceptional single malt has been patiently nurtured for 40 years, developing an extraordinary depth of flavour and complexity. The whisky was finished in bespoke sherry casks, filled with a unique blend of Oloroso and PX sherries. 
 
This results in an extraordinary single malt whisky with rich notes of poached plums and charred orange, dark cherries, warming spice, braised red apples, and a long, sweet finish.
 
Nose: Rich and fruity with notes of homemade strawberry jam and raisins. Luscious dark cherries are complemented by cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of sweet toasted oak.
 
Palate: Sweet layers of poached plums and charred orange progress to yet deeper notes of dark chocolate, braised red apples and sweet liquorice.
 
Finish: Long, sweet and rich with warming spice.
